Lexington, KY.-based S&S Firestone Inc. is collecting funds and will match donations for an upcoming walk to support victims of Lou Gehrig's Disease, or Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).
During September, S&S Tire customers will be able to purchase a special decal for a $1 donation. (The decals will be displayed at 12 S&S Tire locations throughout Kentucky.)
All money collected up to $1,200 will be matched by the dealership and donated to the Walk to D'Feet ALS on Oct. 2 in Lexington. The walk is part of a national effort for an estimated 300 ALS patients who live in Kentucky.
