Nokian Tyres plc's net sales during the second quarter grew 17.8% to 295.4 million euros versus 250.8 million euros during the the same period in 2004.
Nokian's 2Q 2005 operating profit totaled 46.1 million euros versus 32.8 million euros during the same period in 2004.
"The target for 2005 is to outperform the results of 2004 in terms of net sales and profit," say Nokian officials.
