ASA hires senior marketer, account manager

ASA Tire Systems has hired Sky Ganz as senior marketing professional and Brian Horton as account manager.

Ganz, who most recently worked as marketing manager in the academic engineering industry for Tech Ed Concepts Inc., will be responsible for working with executive management in strategic business planning. She also will participate in the creation and execution of the company's marketing plans.

She previously worked in the automotive aftermarket as marketing administrator for Land & Sea Inc., where she was responsible for national advertising campaigns, event planning and media relations.

"With the launch of TreadX and the acquisition of TireMaster, ASA Tire Systems is poised in the industry for explosive growth," says President Wayne Croswell. "I felt these opportunities presented the perfect time to expand the marketing capabilities of our company."

Horton, who most recently worked as sales director for DM Tech America, will be responsible for account management in Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.

Horton also worked as auto enthusiast professional, auto center manager and merchandise manager of implementation for Sears, Roebuck & Co.

"Brian brings a wealth of industry experience to the table for ASA," says Dave Duchesne, vice president of sales. "He not only has an integral understanding of the business needs of the tire and automotive aftermarket, he has lived it first hand.
