Chris Picarello was ratified as the executive director the New York Tire Dealers Association (NYTDA). The vote by the board of directors was unanimous.
Picarello, 24, is a manager and wheel specialist at Middle Island Discount Tire, a family owned and operated dealership in Middle Island, N.Y. She also has sales experience.
Picarello graduated from Hofstra University with a degree in business management. She also has a background in journalism, and recently had an article published in Modern Tire Dealer's July issue: "What's hot for winter in the summer? Continental's new line of snow tires, says Gerstenberger."
