Toyo Tires dominates namesake race event in Topeka

Team Toyo drivers dominated the Toyo Tires Off Road Championships at Heartland Park Topeka, scoring several first place finishes throughout the race weekend on Toyo Open Country M/T tires.

Teams riding on Toyo tires scored five first place finishes during the weekend, the company reports, as well as a second and third place finish and "Leader in Championship Points" in the Sportman 2 Series.

The Topeka event marks the fourth stop of the 2005 CORR Lucas Oil Racing Series.

According to Travis Roffler, senior director of marketing, Toyo Tire (U.S.A.) Corp., “We are excited to see the dominance of our Team Toyo drivers in the CORR/Lucas championship series. They make winning look easy and provided great action for the fans during their trek to the podium.
