BMW's new M5 Limousine and M6 Coupe will use Continental AG's ContiSportContact 2 ultra-high performance tire.
Continental says it was the only tiremaker approved for the M5 and M6.
The vehicles also will use Continental's Mk60 E5 brake system, which includes features like automatic brake disk drying and preventative brake lining application.
