Manny Cicero has been named president and CEO of Denman Tire Corp. effective May 1, 2005. He replaces Charles Wright, who is retiring.
Cicero was named president, Off-the-Road Tires Sales Group, for Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire LLC in Nashville, Tenn., in 1999. He joined the company as a territory sales manager in 1984.
He began his career with Michelin Tire Co. in 1978 where he held various positions in sales and marketing.
Sanford Pensler, president of Pensler Capital Corp., owner of Denman, said, “Manny brings to Denman an enormous amount of experience and proven success in the specialty tire market and will be instrumental in moving the company forward. Through Manny’s leadership it is our desire to become the premier provider of high quality specialty tires.”
Cicero added, “I am excited about joining the Denman team. Denman has a long and proud history of innovation and service in the tire industry and I look forward to taking the company to the next level of growth and success.”
