Tire Barn Warehouse joins ACCC in Indiana

Jan. 26, 2002

Everybody's Oil Corp., which does business as Tire Barn Warehouse, is the 19th member/distributor of American Car Care Centers (ACCC).

"We are highly motivated to market ACCC and its benefits," says Chris Jones, Tire Barn president. "The programs that are offered will significantly enhance our current offerings.

"We’ve always had a road hazard warranty, but will now have the response to the customer question of 'what happens if I’m traveling out of state?' We are very excited about the ACCC credit card program, as well as replacing current offerings with the American Radial. We fly a 20-foot by 30-foot American flag in front of our stores, and this should be a natural line for us."

"Chris has strong relationships with many of our members and will fill a void, which has existed in Indiana since the inception of American Car Care Centers," says Len Lewin, ACCC's president and COO.

There are 23 Tire Barn Warehouse retail outlets, 21 in Indiana and two in Illinois. The family-owned company was founded in Anderson, Ind., in 1930 as a distributor and retailer of petroleum products and TBA merchandise. It sells Michelin, BFGoodrich, Uniroyal, Goodyear, Peerless and Toyo tires.

The addition of Tire Barn to the group gives ACCC more than 1,050 retail locations nationwide.
