Michelin North America Inc. (MNA) and Honeywell have inked a three-year agreement that will see Honeywell install and service Michelin's eTire System, which monitors tire pressure levels.
"We introduced the eTire System on a limited basis in 2002 to measure fleet receptivity and test its functionality," says Luc Minguet, chief operating officer of Michelin America Truck Tires.
Response to the product has exceeded MNA's expectations, he adds.
