Yokohama Tire Corp. will increase prices across the board on its OTR tires effective April 1, 2005.
OTR tire prices will be increased by 3% to 8%. Additional in-line adjustments will be made.
The company has cited the rising cost of resources, including steel, fabric and petroleum-derived materials, as the reason for the increase.
Detailed pricing will be provided to dealers prior to the actual increase, according to the company.
Yokohama last instituted a price increase -- 2% to 3% -- on OTR tires on June 1, 2004.
