Craft Tire enjoys record month

Feb. 25, 2005

Uniontown, Pa.-based Craft Tire Co. did $1 million in sales last month, a record for the company, says Craft Tire President Allan Craft.

"We're having record months every month" due to the short supply of new OTR tires, Craft told moderntiredealer.com at this week's Tire Industry Associaton OTR Tire Conference in Tucson, Ariz.

"We're selling everything we can cap and we're selling used tires as quickly as we can repair them."

The dealership is adding personnel and boosting production at its Uniontown and Greenville, Ohio, facilities to keep up with demand.

The 2005 OTR Conference ends tomorrow.
