Bridgestone/Firestone North American Tire (BFNT) LLC has named Masao Wada the new manager of its Aiken County, S.C., factory.
A 31-year Bridgestone veteran, Wada replaces Stephen Brooks, who was promoted late last year to BFNT vice president, Quality Assurance.
Wada starts at the Aiken County facility in mid-February, say BFNT officials.
Most recently he served as manager of Bridgestone's Kurume, Japan, plant.
