Federal Corp. recently played host to A-One Tyres, Federal’s sole distributor in the Malaysian market, at the company's headquarters in Chungli, Taiwan.
More than 30 A-One dealers participated in a full day of workshop and training seminars. They also received a tire plant tour.
Jason Lee, a representative of the company’s motorsports division, gave a presentation illustrating Federal’s latest involvement with motorsports, including highlights of Federal’s racing season this year in Malaysia. Federal will be the controlled tire supplier to the Malaysian Super Series (MSS) Championship, and the Sepang 1000km (S1K) endurance race in 2011.
“This engaging program increased technical learning and made everyone in the group interested and rewarding with comprehensive training courses," said Lee Wei Fong, general manager of A-One Tyres.
Federal is A-One Tyres' flagship brand in the specialty tire segment, he added.
