Techking Tires Ltd. has introduced a tire for mining trucks, the TKHARDY, available in sizes 10.00R20 (18PR), 11.00R20 (18PR) and 12.00R20 (20PR).
TKHARDY incorporates the company’s hardy tread compound, which offers cut and impact resistance for vehicles driven 85% off-the-road, 15% on road.
Techking’s “hard core” design in the bead area gives support for heavier-than-standard loads, while its “inno-formula” offers reduced heat generation. For this line, Techking sources top quality inner tubes and flaps from recognized manufacturers, the company notes.
TKHARDY serves an alternative solution for mining trucks after the Techking ETOT for tough terrain operations. Its intended road conditions are not as severe as the ones for ETOT, the company notes, and its tread depth is around 7.5mm narrower than that of the ETOT line.
