Uniroyal rewards dealers with cash, getaways

Michelin North America reports Uniroyal Tire recently drew the winners of its "Ticket to Travel" dealer contest, which took place during July and August.

The nine dealers, who were chosen based on highest percentage of growth in Uniroyal tire purchases during the contest period, had their choice of a getaway or a cash prize.

"We are very committed to maintaining strong relationships with our dealers, and the winners of this contest are great examples of that dedication," says Ashley Ramos, Uniroyal marketing communications manager. "We have seen a great response from dealers about our new products and look forward to continued shared success."

Grand prize winners, who chose from international locations or a cash prize, include the following: Ron Burt of Burt Brother Tire & Service Inc., North Salt Lake, Utah; Mark Rhodes of Plaza Tire Service Inc., Cape Girardeau, Mo.; Doug Miller of St. Lucie Battery & Tire Co., Fort Pierce, Fla.; and Parham Parastaran of Car-X Tire and Auto, Champaign, Ill.

First place winners, who chose from locations within the continental United States or a cash prize, include: Dominic Umek at Conrad’s Tire Service Inc., Cleveland, Ohio; Tom Whalen at Whalen Tire Inc., Butte, Mont; Steve Shanley at American Tire & Auto Care Inc., Green Brook, N.J.; Sandra Heslep at Vaughn Tire Co. Inc., Jacksonville, Ark.; and Jim Moody at Moody’s Quality Recappers, Franklin, Tenn.
