Bridgestone Corp. has opened a new tread rubber plant in Chonburi, Thailand. The factory will produce precure tread.
"The Bridgestone Group is actively developing a solutions business globally that includes the use of both new and retread tires," say company officials.
The factory represents a total investment of 4.4 billion yen and will employ 100 people.
