TANA, ITRA prepare for merger with staffing appointments

Dec. 28, 2001

The Tire Association of North America (TANA) and the International Tire & Rubber Association (ITRA) are gearing up for their tentative merger next year by making two key executive appointments.

Starting next Tuesday, current TANA Executive Vice President Ross Kogel also will serve as ITRA Interim Executive Vice President.

On that same day, outgoing ITRA Executive Director Marvin Bozarth will assume the position of ITRA Senior Technical Consultant.

Kogel will hold the top staff positions for both organizations until June 30, 2002; he will take over as executive vice president of the combined groups on July 1.

"These changes will help us accelerate the merger process," says ITRA President Tom Raben.
