SEMA Show, Day Two: Bee Line intros camber correction tool

Nov. 3, 2010

Bee Line Co.'s new camber correction tool eliminates unnecessary heavy lifting when performing camber corrections on heavy-duty tractors.

The Tool Group 407 featuring Axle Strap Technology "replaces old-style clevises that weigh up to 56 pounds a piece," say Bee Line officials. "Straps are flexible and can be placed over the axle in areas with limited clearance without disassembling the steering components. Each strap can handle 100 tons of hydraulic pressure."

"Our software will let us know when the axle comes back into specification," adds Mick Dalton, Bee Line's marketing director. "Camber is the third leading cause of tire wear."
