ALLDATA releases updated auto service disc

The new disc from Elk Grove, Calif.-based automotive repair information software provider ALLDATA includes enhanced shop operations and technician reference sections.

The shop operations section includes service write-up forms, a list of timing belt replacement intervals, diagnosis and inspection checklists for technicians and other tools.

The technician reference section contains a glossary and conversion tables, among other features.

ALLDATA's latest update includes more than 150,000 electronic pages and more than 95,000 pages of Asian and European import vehicle data.

The company estimates more than 35,000 auto repair shops throughout the United States use its systems.
