SEMA Show, Day One: Bartec events offer TPMS updates

Nov. 2, 2010

Bartec USA LLC reports it is participating in a full complement of events revolving around what’s new in tire pressure monitoring systems at this week's Global Tire Expo – Powered by TIA.

With its “Tell Us Your Story!” promotion, Bartec is inviting current customers to come to its booth (#40223) and fill out an entry card explaining their successful experience with the company’s Wheelrite tool products.

There will be daily drawings for the best stories from model Tech400 users (a two-year software certificate worth $595), and a free Torque Tool Kit (a $72 value) for model Tech300 and Tech300+ users, the company says.

On Tuesday, Nov. 2, Mike Rose, Bartec’s product manager, will be conducting “TPMS Tuesdays” live from the Bartec booth. (TPMS Tuesdays is the company’s online TPMS training classes.) Show attendees will be able to watch as the class is conducted for online customers. The classes will be held at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Pacific time.

On Wednesday, Nov. 3, Scot Holloway, the company’s general manager, will be presenting at the Tire Industry Association (TIA) seminar “TPMS at 10.”  He will share why you need a TPMS tool as well as what is new in the TPMS category.

And on Thursday, Nov. 4, Holloway will be part of a panel that will answer questions about the new programmable EZ-Sensor TPMS sensor. This question-and-answer forum will be held at 3:30 p.m. in the North Hall at the Global Tire Expo – Powered by TIA. Also on the panel will be Dan Baker of Schrader International and Tony Davenport of Schrader Electronics.
