Tires are technological marvels. Some are better than others, but as time goes by, the question "Which tire is the best?" gets harder to answer.
But "Consumer Reports" tried anyway. In its November issue, the "CR" staff rated 21 ultra-high performance summer tires, 17 UHP all-season tires, and 15 performance winter tires. There were clear winners, but no clear losers.
