Brodsky fires back at TRIB

Oct. 22, 2010

Harvey Brodsky, former managing director of the Tire Retread & Repair Information Bureau (TRIB), has formed his own retreading organization: the Retread Tire Association.

The non-profit, 501(c)(6) entity -- just like TRIB -- is “dedicated to promoting and expanding retreading and proper tire repairing throughout the world, with no closed doors and no closed meetings,” he says. “I have support from many of the leading voices in our industry.”

Brodsky was fired by the TRIB board of directors on Oct. 5. Since then, both he and TRIB President Mike Berra Jr. have released official statements about the situation.
