Bridgestone/Firestone Americas Holding Inc. Chairman, CEO and President John Lampe met with officials from Ford Motor Co. in Detroit last week.
"We believe everyone thought the meeting was fruitful and productive," says a Bridgestone/Firestone spokeswoman, who declined further comment.
Bridgestone Corp. CEO Shigeo Watanabe met with Ford COO Nick Scheele last month in Hawaii.
The tiremaker severed its century-long supply relationship with Ford earlier this year.
