Pirelli & C. SpA has revised its financial projections for 2010 based on preliminary data generated during the first nine months of the year.
The company expects to end the year with total revenue of more than 4.9 billion euros. Its Pirelli Tyre unit is expected to generate revenue of more than 4.7 billion euros.
"The first nine months of 2010 confirm the positive trend seen in the first half of the year and show a marked improvement in operating results compared with the same period a year earlier," say Pirelli officials.
