Hennessy Industries is looking for the oldest Coats direct drive balancer as part of its fall promotional contest, which runs through Dec. 3.
"The Search for the Oldest Coats Direct Drive Balancer" will give Coats direct drive balancer owners a chance to win a free trip for two to Las Vegas, Nev.
In addition, shops using a Coats direct drive balancer can enter to win a new 1250-3DV machine by going to www.coatsdirectdrive.com and entering their machine's serial number.
"This contest is going to be a lot of fun and should really highlight the longevity and reliability of Coats' direct drive balancers," says Kevin Keefe, Hennessy Industries' vice president of marketing.
"We expect to find tens if not hundreds of Coats direct drive balancers still in use that were manufactured 10, 20 or even 30 years ago. But we wanted to give all of our direct drive customers a chance to win a new 1250-3DV, regardless of the age of their equipment."
Keefe adds that new direct drive balancers are in the pipeline.
