Gittin Jr. earned the maximum amount of 100 points for his first-place finish last month at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, CA. Just 58 points behind him in second place is his teammate, Daijiro Yoshihara, with 482, making the Formula D "Title Fight" more like a "Falken Fight."
"We are in striking distance of our goal, a year's worth of hard work comes down to one last event. It's easy for a team to get complacent with our streak of success this season. Not this team, not this year. We will roll into Irwindale with the same take no prisoners attitude we have had all season because none of our competitors plan on laying down and handing us the championship. My team will be ready to take on whatever is thrown at us because if we work as a unit, we are hard to beat," stated Jonathon Bradford, Falken's Drift Team Supervisor.
