Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has named Peter Hellman, retired president of Nordson Corp., to its board of directors.
Hellman served as president and CFO of Nordson from 2004 to 2008. Before that, he served as the company's executive vice president and chief financial and administrative officer.
"Pete Hellman is a respected leader with extensive leadership experience in successful international businesses," says Goodyear Chairman and CEO Richard Kramer. "His wide-ranging experience and knowledge will be of significant value to our board of directors."
Hellman's election brings the size of Goodyear's board to 12 members.
