Kumho adds teams to college football program

Kumho Tire U.S.A. Inc. will sponsor two more college football teams, the University of Florida Gators and the University of Tennessee Volunteers.

The sponsorship announcement comes on the heels of Kumho's recently signed sponsorship deal with the Ohio State University Buckeyes.

The new deals include a variety of elements, including video board signage at stadiums; in-game video board graphics; Kumho Tire "Drive of the Game" spots; full-color ads in game-day programs; interactive Web banners; large, Kumho-sponsored interactive booths in the Fan Zone areas of both universities; hospitality and tickets for Kumho dealers and their customers; and more.

"We are convinced that sponsoring top-ranked college teams with legions of passionate fans will allow us to markedly enhance our brand awareness," says Rick Brennan, Kumho's vice president of marketing.

In addition, the sponsorships will allow Kumho to "use college football as a communications platform and promote our line-up of performance passenger and light truck tires."
