Registration is now open for Standards Testing Laboratories' (STL) fall Tire Technology seminar, which will be held Oct. 19-21 at the company's headquarters in Massillon, Ohio.
The three-day seminar will cover tire nomenclature, materials, compounding, design, construction, manufacturing, testing and application, among other topics. Deadline to register is Oct. 1.
"STL's Tire Tech seminar is designed to appeal to those directly or indirectly involved in the tire industry and to provide an overview of tire design, construction and performance," say STL officials.
Participants also will tour STL's testing labs and will have opportunities to participate in question-and-answer sessions throughout the course.
Registration costs $975 and includes admission, materials, luncheons, an evening banquet and refreshments. STL also has reserved a block of rooms at a local hotel for participants. Discounts are available for three or more individuals from one company, if they register together.
