Trelleborg Wheel Systems has introduced a new tread design for its size 710/50R26.5 Twin Radial flotation tire.
The design has a 15% wider footprint compared to its predecessor, say Trelleborg officials. In addition, it sports two extra lugs and a longer central block.
"An increased ratio between the land and sea areas and a 14% deeper lug provide a longer tire life, contributing to lower operating costs." The Twin Radial is available in 10 sizes.
