Bridgestone to talk green retail at TIA event

Sept. 3, 2010

A Bridgestone official will discuss how the company's stores are achieving environmental harmony during the upcoming Tire Industry Association (TIA) Environmental Symposium, which will be held Sept. 30-Oct. 2.

John Sheering, Bridgestone retail environmental director, will cover practical approaches to understanding the impact of air, water, solid and hazardous waste on retail facilities, and how to reduce this impact.

"If your business handles hazardous waste, John Sheerin's session is a 'can't miss' opportunity," says Dick Gust, co-chair of TIA's Environmental Advisory Council.
