The WP8200 Wheel Balancer from Products by McCourt is the latest addition to the company's new line of tire service equipment (see "Wheel Products by McCourt unveils new line").
Manufactured exclusively for McCourt and designed for use by the professional tire service technician, the WP8200 works on tires up to 47 inches in diameter; rim widths from 1.5 inches up to and including 20 inches; and rim diameters ranging from 10 inches through 30 inches. It will hold tires that weigh up to 154 pounds.
The unit features the following:
* an LCD display for quick calibration;
* a tire optimization feature;
* a space-saving hood; and
* rugged construction.
Standard accessories include three-passenger cones, a quick release wing nut, and caliper and wheel weight hammers. Optional accessories include motorcycle adapters and a pin plate kit.
The wheel balancer is accurate to one gram, and has a spin time of five seconds, according to the company. It also can be programmed for use by multiple operators.
