Michelin North America Inc. is outfitting all Segway Human Transporter (HT) electric-powered scooters, more commonly known as "It," with Michelin brand "Balance" tires, plus wheels.
"Because the Segway HT has the ability to operate over a wide variety of indoor and outdoor surfaces, Michelin compounding ensures a non-marking tire for interior use as well as long tread life for exterior use," say Michelin officials.
Michelin has been working with HT on the project for three years.
