Tennessee tire dealers to hold convention

July 20, 2010

The Tennessee Tire Dealers Association (TNTDA) will hold its annual convention Aug. 6-7, 2010, at the Nashville Hilton Downtown in Nashville, Tenn.

The focus of this year’s convention will be improving your business from the inside out and making the most of what you have in these tough economic times, says the TNTDA.

Seminar topics will include “How to build a better you: Personal and professional development;” “Risk management: Finding and hiring quality people;” “Using social media as a strategic business tool,” and many more.

“This is a once-a -year opportunity for tire dealers and suppliers from Tennessee to network and share their experiences, and for them to gain exposure to new ideas, techniques and information,” says the association.

The annual convention includes a golf tournament at Vanderbilt Legends Club, Casino Night with exhibitors, speakers, a trade show and a Hall of Fame banquet.

TNTDA will induct two legends of the Tennessee tire industry into its Hall of Fame -- Johnny Huddleston and Lewis Wexler Sr. -- at a banquet on Saturday, Aug. 7, at the Standard at Smith House in Nashville.
