American Tire Distributors Inc.(ATD) will relocate its Sioux Falls, S.D., distribution center to a new facility in the city that is presently under construction.
The new distribution center will span 94,000 square feet when finished, say ATD officials. "Estimated completion and relocation to occur in the beginning of October."
ATD recently opened a new distribution center in Cincinnati, Ohio, the company's first D/C in the state. The new facility spans approximately 85,158 square feet. The company also has announced plans to open a distribution center in Indianapolis, Ind., later this summer.
ATD operates, in total, 84 distribution centers serving 37 states.
