Bridgestone Corp. and the World Agroforestry Centre (WAC) are teaming up to provide Indonesian farmers with information about best practices for the cultivation of rubber trees.
The parties also will conduct joint research "intended to help stabilize the region's agricultural rubber industry into the future," according to Bridgestone officials.
In related news, Bridgestone has donated two million yen to the WAC through its P.T. Bridgestone Sumatra Rubber Estate subsidiary.
