American Tire Distributors Inc. (ATD) has opened a new distribution center in Cincinnati, Ohio, the company's first D/C in the state. The new facility spans approximately 85,158 square feet.
"Our new ATD distribution center is a bricks and mortar example of our commitment to tire retailers in the southern Ohio market," says ATD CEO and President Bill Berry. "This new distribution center will provide dealers in and around Cincinnati with a broad array of products and brands, coupled with the high level of service we strive to provide our customers."
ATD also has announced plans to open a distribution center in Indianapolis, Ind., later this summer. The warehouse will serve tire dealers in the greater Indianapolis area.
ATD operates, in total, 84 distribution centers serving 37 states.
