TCS, Social Butterfly to focus on social media

Tire Company Solutions (TCS) and Social have entered into a collaborative effort to produce what TCS is calling a "new brand" of social media Web sites for independent tire dealers.

TCS and Social Butterfly will give tire dealers "a single place to manage their Web and social pesence," according to TCS officials.

"The Web site has a clean, crisp look, and drives interaction with customers and potential customers with tire information and social media," says TCS President Barry Reese.

"We are offering the only product that allows the administration of your entire Web media presence to be managed and controlled from one place. Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, specials, promotions, online coupons, active tire and wheel data pricing, Web site analytics, customer contact and much more will all be managed from a single point."

"We've been helping dealers utilize social media for the past two years now, and it has become obvious to us that the Web sites in use today fall short in the tools necessary to fully take advantage of their Internet presence," says Shawn McKenzie, president of Social Butterfly, which is based in New Hampshire. "TCS already has a strong Web product mix in place, (and) we had the social media expertise. It made sense to work together."

Both McKenzie and Reese believe that access to social media "has flattened... any small business can now have a powerful presence on the Web."
