Purolator Filters has published its new 700-plus page "Heavy Duty Filter Applications Catalog."

Featuring easy-to-follow alpha-numeric listings that the company says makes it faster and easier to identify the correct filter part number for any application, the catalog (PUCT209) also has all heavy-duty equipment manufacturers listed in one section.

"Cross references are particularly helpful for identifying filters in industrial, agricultural and stationary applications, (off-highway) where the identity and heritage of the equipment may not be easily identifiable," says John Enright, senior product manager for Purolator Heavy Duty Filters. "With extensive application data and a multitude of cross references, we ensure that the user gets a quality Purolator filter, and that the parts supplier identifies the correct filter easily and accurately."

The company also has a Purolator Response Office (PROs), a free service that can answer "virtually any question about filtration, from application data, dimensional specifications, media design and configuration to installation procedures."

The company also recently added 27,000 heavy-duty cross references to the "Filter Finder" section of the Purolator Web site. For more information on Purolator Filters NA LLC (a joint venture company of the Bosch Group and Mann+Hummel Group), visit www.purolatorautofilters.net.
