Plans announced for 2010 Global Tire Expo

Host hotel for Tire Industry Association (TIA) members attending the 2010 Global Tire Expo – powered by TIA, which is a part of the 2010 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show taking place Nov. 1-5 in Las Vegas, Nev., will be Paris Hotel. 

TIA Executive Vice President Roy Littlefield notes "the room rates we have secured show we are being sensitive to our member’s needs in this economy. Paris Hotel provides our members with beautiful surroundings, amazing dining options and an ideal Strip location – all at a very affordable rate.”

TIA also has firmed up plans  for two special events at the show -- the Wine & Cheese Social and Tire Industry Honors.

Both events will take place at Paris Hotel on Monday, Nov. 1. The Wine & Cheese Social will start at 5 p.m. Admission to this event is complimentary for all TIA members and show attendees.

Immediately following the Wine & Cheese Social from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. will be Tire Industry Honors. This event will honor this year’s Tire Industry Hall of Fame recipients and the torch will be passed from the current TIA President, Wayne Croswell, to the incoming President, Mike Berra.

Admission to this event is complimentary to all TIA members and show attendees; however, an RSVP is required.

Immediately following these events from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m. will be TIA’s annual Welcome Reception at Les Artistes Steakhouse at Paris Hotel. "Those who have attended previous Welcome Receptions know that this is one of the best opportunities to meet old friends, make important business contacts and do some serious networking," says TIA.

Tickets are $50 per person.
