Double Coin will report shipments to RMA

May 3, 2010

Double Coin Holdings Ltd. and its China Manufacturers Alliance LLC (CMA) subsidiary will participate in the Rubber Manufacturers Association's (RMA) new Data Exchange Pilot Program (DEPP), a reporting program for tiremakers that do not have U.S.-based manufacturing facilities.

The program's purpose is to provide accurate tire shipment data to DEPP in a timely manner.

"This opportunity allows CMA and more speficially, Double Coin truck and bus radial tire products, to be accounted for even more accurately in U.S. statistics," says CMA Vice President Aaron Murphy.

"While we realize that this is a non-membership position and the program operates independently from other RMA reporting activities, we are honored to participate in the program, as well as understand the importance of the data we submit."

RMA CEO and President Charles Cannon says the association is excited by Double Coin and CMA's response to the program. "We believe that it will provide participants with a clearer picture of U.S. tire shipments. Double Coin was the first company to agree to join our new program, and we are grateful that they will work with us to create a useful tool for tiremakers who conduct business in the U.S."
