It's time to nominate a tire dealer for Modern Tire Dealer's 2010 Tire Dealer of the Year award.
Last year's winner, Bill Ziegler, president of Ziegler Tire & Supply Co. in Canton, Ohio, says, "It is a great honor and a humbling experience to be named Tire Dealer of the Year, especially when you look at all the great tire dealers throughout the country."
Any independent tire dealer, except our previous winners, is eligible for the award. In selecting the Tire Dealer of the Year, judges will consider five elements: business success, management and marketing skills, industry knowledge and community involvement.
The winner will be featured on the cover or MTD's September issue and spotlighted in a feature article. In addition to the industry recognition, the winner will receive a minimum of $1,000 to be given to their favorite charity.
Through the Tire Dealer of the Year program, now in iths 18th year, MTD has given more than $125,000 to charities in the winners' names.
