DSP promotes 20 groups via Facebook

Dealer Strategic Planning Inc. (DSP) has set up a Facebook page to promote its 20 group program for tire dealers. The page shows dealer interaction from recent 20 group meetings, including comments and photos.

"During all of our recent meetings, social media has been a hot topic, with the consensus that dealers must include social media in their marketing plan to have a well-rounded approach to today's Web-savvy consumers," says Pat Brown, DSP vice president of marketing.

"It made sense that we should take our own advice and have a presence on Facebook, which is rapidly becoming one of the biggest information sites on the Web today."

Jeff Webster of Take Ten Tire & Lube, a DSP 20 group member, says the Facebook page "will allow the collaboration to continue" after 20 members have met in person.
