A new feature on Sam's Club's Web site lets members order Goodyear, Michelin and BFGoodrich brand tires directly from their manufacturers.
Tires will then be delivered to the Sam's Club outlet nearest the ordering customer.
"Members will have access to unique and special tire sizes and high performance models that may not be in stock at each Club," say Sam's Club officials. "Once special-ordered, the tires will be available within two to five business days."
Prices will be the same as if the tires were bought in actual Sam's Club stores, according to a statement from the 490-outlet, Wal-Mart Stores Inc. division.
