Alliance Tire  Co. (1992) USA Ltd. recently named three veteran tire executives to its management team: Bob Arnold, Randy Gaetz and Todd Richardson.

Arnold is the new vice president of aftermarket sales. He was most recently vice president of sales for the aftermarket business of GPX International Tire Corp.

(For more information on Alliance Tire Group's acquisition of GPX International, see "Alliance CEO talks plans for GPX properties.")

He began his career on the factory floor as a tire builder and inspector for B.F. Goodrich Tire Group.

Gaetz was appointed vice president of original equipment sales. Most recently vice president for U.S. aftermarket sales for GPX, he joined the industry as a territory rep for Michelin North America Inc.

Alliance has products that "we didn’t have in our GPX portfolio, while the GPX portfolio extends Alliance’s product line significantly,” says Gaetz. "We have a better story to tell to our customers as well as our potential customers today, and we’re in a much better position to grow over the next five years.”

Richardson is the company's new chief financial officer. Trained as an accountant, he signed on with Firestone Tire & Rubber Co.’s MBA training program and assumed a variety of leading financial roles over his 25 years at Firestone and then Bridgestone Firestone (now Bridgestone Americas Inc.). Most recently, he served as comptroller of the Bridgestone Commercial Tire Group.

The new members of the Alliance executive team will oversee members from both the Alliance and GPX sales forces to maintain a smooth flow of product and service to the field.

“With the Alliance, Galaxy, Primex and Aeolus all under one roof, we have the broad product line that makes us one of the major players in the off-highway market.,” says Manny Cicero, president of Alliance Tire USA. "But what really allows us to deliver value to the independent dealer is the people behind our tires."
