The Continental HDL2 DL medium truck tire now includes an offering of Load Range H in size 11R22.5, which allows the tire to carry up to an additional 435 pounds in a single fitment.
The HDL2 DL is produced at Continental Tire the Americas LLC's plant in Mount Vernon, Ill., "and features (the company's) deepest truck tire tread offering at 32/32-inch depth, resulting in long original mileage," according to Continental officials.
Introduced last year, the tire is available in four sizes: 11R22.5 (G and H Load Range); 11R24.5 (G and H Load Range); 275/80R22.5 (G Load Range); and 285/75R24.5 (G Load Range).
