Purcell Tire & Rubber Co. has sold its Springfield, Ill., distribution center to Combined Locks, Wis.-based U.S. AutoForce, Joe Jackson, Purcell senior vice president, told www.moderntiredealer.com.
Purcell, which is based in Potosi, Mo., has two wholesale distribution centers, both in Phoenix, Ariz.
U.S. AutoForce approached Purcell about buying the Springfield warehouse, according to Jackson. "A mutual agreement was arranged" between the two companies.
