According to a recent memo sent by Tire Centers LLC (TCI) to its suppliers, the assets of 19 TCI locations in the northeastern U.S. will be sold to Bethlehem, Pa.-based Service Tire Truck Centers (STTC) on Jan. 29.
The transaction will include eight locations in Massachusetts, four locations in Maryland, three outlets in Virginia, two locations in New York, one outlet in New Hampshire and one outlet in New Jersey.
As of now, STTC is the eighth largest independent commercial tire dealership in the U.S. with 24 commercial-only outlets and two combination retail/commercial outlets, according to Modern Tire Dealer research. STTC also operates three retread shops.
