The Tire Industry Association (TIA) has set dates for five of its 2015 Automotive Tire Service (ATS) training tour locations.
The schedule is as follows:
* February 24-27 – Charlotte, N.C.
* May 19-22, Minneapolis, Minn.
* June 23-26, Denver, Colo.
* July 14-16, Chicago, Ill. (3 days only)
* Sept. 22-25, Baltimore, Md.
The ATS Tour also will be visiting the following cities with dates still to be announced: San Diego, Calif.; Wasilla, Ala.; Portland, Maine; Seattle, Wash.; Cincinnati, Ohio; Sarasota, Fla.; and Phoenix, Ariz.
These 4-day, in-depth classroom and hands-on training classes educate tire technicians on the proper safety procedures and guidelines for servicing passenger and light truck tire and wheel assemblies. It also includes a full day of instruction on Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS). Classes generally are held at local community and technical colleges.
