Web poll: Do you want tire registration?

Order Reprints

One session during last week's National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Passenger Vehicle Tire Safety Symposium reopened the debate over tire registration.

The Rubber Manufacturers Association has proposed that tire dealers be required to register tires at the point of sale for customers. The Tire Industry Association opposes the idea. You can read all about it here.

We want to know what you think. Go to the Modern Tire Dealer homepage and look for our web poll, on the lower right side of the page. Then, answer the latest poll question: Tire registration is currently voluntary. Are you for or against making it mandatory?
